Opinion
Who doesn't love food? Or discounts? This article is written to promote special discount day offered by TGIF for all of their menus. It is accompanied with a handful of absolutely mouth-watering visuals along with the T&C's. Although, I should say that the visuals probably a little bit too dominating in the article since the visuals are only there to appetize, that the written bodies would more likely to be shrugged off. Probably the size of the images could be reduced so that the people would also be able to focus on the body texts. Furthermore, the call to action of app download is not noticeable immediately since it is somewhere between the images and accompanying body copy, especially if people just scan and don't actually peruse the article. I think it would be best to put it somewhere that would allow it to stand out, for example in this case, the end of the article.
Copy Strategy
The strategy in this advertorial is to stimulate appetite with huge visuals of scrumptious dishes and stressing the fact of the limited offer in prospect for people to take action instantly. The article is closed with an informative poster about the details of the promotion, including the promo code, and more gorgeous images of food. As well as the T&C's. However, since this promotion only applies for delivery and self pick-up exclusively on M-Squared, which is an app that probably people are not so familiar with, the call to action of downloading this app should be put somewhere near this info poster, with the intention of a better user experience.
