Opinion
This is an ad from Hugo Boss for their men's apparel line. It's particularly quite a simple ad with not so many words, and a call to action button. Seemingly, this is an ad that we could find on websites or perhaps social media, and for that reason, I think that's why this ad is packed with brevity. The word 'BOSS', in this case, could be considered a homonym as it carries more than one meaning, boss, and the brand itself. And it is highlighted beautifully with the interaction with the man in the image. And the simplicity of the words and the layout is making the call to action successive.
Copy Strategy
The main focus in this ad would be its interactivity between typography and photography, and the highlighted word embodies the word-play in this ad very well. The innuendo is working to the company's advantage and overall, this is such a gripping ad!
Reimagined Copy
Headline: Put on your boss.
Call to action: Be boss now.
